Good Wicking, Poor Cushioning

The New Balance Unisex Wicking Nanotex Cotton Crew Sock is made with vigorous athletic performance in mind. It is designed to wick moisture away from your foot, an important attribute (especially in running intensive activities), and in that regard it performs impeccably. The sock is very comfortable to wear and goes a long way toward keeping your feet dry. The price is also quite reasonable.

Unfortunately, the sock is also very thin. It is comfortable to wear when doing unstrenuous activities, but has next to no cushion for the very activities it is designed for. It feels insubstantial on the feet when running for any distance (the application I bought them for) and provides negligible cushioning during high-impact activities. These socks are fine for casual wear, but I can't recommend them for strenuous activities, particularly running.

Could use more cushion on the bottom.

These fit well, are comfortable, and priced reasonably. It would be nice to have a bit more cushion on the bottom.

Everyone needs wicking socks

Wicking socks are essential! These are great and I especially like crew-length in winter. Who needs cold ankles?

If you or your loved ones suffer from blisters, foot or toenail fungus, of even stinky feet, these socks will help all those conditions by keeping the feet drier.

Wicking socks also keep your feet warmer in the winter--as your feet sweat, the moisture evaporates and leaves your feet cold. Wicking socks reduce that quite a bit by wicking the moisture away from your feet.

And, this is a great price!

He Loves 'em!

These are the only socks my hubby will wear! I was so happy to find them here on Amazon! The description says the color is black, but rest assured they are really WHITE with black & grey accents as shown. My husband wears a size 13 shoe, but fits comfortably in the Large size sock.
