Great bra, runs small

As usual, Liz Claiborne items run small. Order up at least one band and cup size. This is a well-made product, but could be improved and the line expanded to accommodate larger sizes.

Not for me

I like bras that stretch and move with you; make it barely noticeable its on. And I'm not into the torpedo look, which is how it looked on me. This bra did not supply the comfort I was looking for. I returned it.

I wish these people would learn ho to measure

I ordered this bra in size 40 so it would be comfortable. When I received it I could see it was small. I stretched it to it's max and measured. At the maximum stretch, it only reached 38". I could probably get it on but it would cut me in half by the end of the day. These companies take great pains to tell you how to measure for a bra. I'm not not sure how they benefit by not matching their instructions. Another thing, Amazon sent the order to Beall's Florida and I have to pay out of pocket to return the merchandise. I'm paying shipping twice and do not have anything to show for it.

I have been searching for the "perfect" bra forever. I have finally found it. This bra is amazing, it lifts, shapes & minimizes. Now, to the makers of Liz Claiborne, why doesn't this come in black????

Great Minimizer!!!

This bra is actually a really great bra and a fantastic value Liz Claiborne #8431 So Smooth Minimizer Bra Only reason I did not give it 5 stars because I had ordered another bra at the same time that the cut just fit me really well.
I like a bra's back strap to feel like it is riding in just a little lower position on my back. It feels better to me, it gives me the feeling of more support, and I don't get the little back bulgies peaking under the edge. Due to the tailoring of this particular bra the back strap seemed to naturally want to sit just that little area on my back that I can't stand the back strap to be. I tried letting out the shoulder straps more to where it would not do this, but it felt to me like I lost a little of that "held in feeling" I prefer. Again, it could be just that the other bra happened to be a particularly great fit for me. Everything else about this bra, seems really good. The minimizing action seems really notice-ably good, if that is important to you. Gives great shape. Good support and side support.
