These simple guidelines below will help you select the size that works best.
Band Measurement
Using a measuring tape, take a snug measurement around the rib cage, directly under the bust. If the measurement is an odd number, add 5 inches to determine band size. If the measurement is even, add 6 inches.
Tip: When measuring for band size, place your index finger under the tape measure to allow for body expansion necessary for sitting.
Cup Measurement Using a measuring tape, measure around the fullest part of the bust (do not stretch tape tightly). Then, take the difference between this measurement and the band size measurement to determine the cup size.
If the difference is:
- 1 inch ... you are a cup size A
- 2 inches ... you are a cup size B
- 3 inches ... you are a cup size C
- 4 inches ... you are a cup size D
- 5 inches ... you are a cup size DD
- 6 inches ... you are a cup size DDD
Tip: If the band seems too tight, increase one band size and decrease one cup size. If the band seems too large and rides up in the back, decrease one band size and increase one cup size.
Note: The measurement is just a starting point. Different styles fit differently, and each style must be tried on to assure a proper fit. It is best to measure while wearing an underwire bra.

This Is The Best Bra Ever!
When it comes to buying a bra, we all know how difficult it is to find one that fits. Either it isn't comfortable in the band, or the cups don't fit. This bra, however, is the best bra I have found yet. I have been wearing this model for 5 years now, and have tried others in the mean time, but always, always return to my favorite. Why do I bother trying other styles? I know none of them will be as comfortable as this. Please, Vanity Fair, never stop making this model number!
comfort, but not enough support
I own several other Vanity Fair bras, and really liked them, so I figured I'd give this one a try. The material was very comfortable, but I didn't feel I got much support from it. The adjustable part of the strap isn't very long, so I couldn't shorten the straps enough. When you add the stretchy fabric in the straps, I was not being held in place much at all. Maybe if I worked a desk job, this would be okay, but I'm relatively active, on my feet and moving most of the day, and this bra didn't cut it.
Best Bra I have ever owned
I am a larger woman and have had so much trouble finding a bra that fit well and one that was comfortable. I bought on of these bras at JC Penny's and it was the most comfortable fit ever. I wear normally a B cup, but moved up to a C. It fits so well and I have bought 4 more since then. Amazon is the cheapest when it comes to this bra. I also am able to wear this bra, being 5 months pregnant and still have so much support and comfort. No maternatiy bra was even comparable.. I recommend this bra. I have only been able to find white, black and beige...It was nice to find two different colors of pink on this site. One thing, Only hand wash. Like every bra. I still have my first one the I bought over two years ago.
