Crown Black Garter Belt 7004

Like the others, I found this to best fit my needs. The material is such that its strong but light weight,so one doesn't get hot wearing it.
The straps are likewise strong and light. The only minor drawbacks are the metal clips need to be strengthened a bit and the fasteners need to be secure as they can pop off,if not real secure. Otherwise its one of the best belts out there.
And yes!Wash only by hand and let drip or towel dry! The only real disappointment is the White Garter Belt. Its too white. Wish Crown would tone it down a bit.

Great product, but watch the laundry

I found this product to be exactly what I was looking for - metal fasteners and all. It fits well and is comfortable. One big thing to watch out for - do NOT put this in the dryer - even on delicate heat as the rubber on the fasteners melts and becomes unusable. I had to replace the fasteners. I do however consider this my fault, not theirs, but nonetheless annoying.

Good quality garter belt

I needed a good quality garter belt for extra firm support hose, and this is the best I've had in years..... White Crown Back Hook Garter Belt.

Strong and Stylish, but Durable?

The metal clasps definately add some sturdiness and flare to a product that many potential consumers are wary of... Perhaps its the fact that many women see stockings and garters as a dying fashion as thanks to cheap pantyhose. In any case, if you're going for the sexy stockings look, these will hold them in place no problem.

The only reservation I have are the fasteners on the back... They aren't sewn in as well as they perhaps should be, and look like they may become un-stitched after a few wears.
