Customer Reviews

Love it

This is by far my favorite nursing bra. It fits me perfectly (38D nursing), and I disagree with the previous reviewer that claimed the sizing was non-standard. This is the same size I wear with other brands. I found this bra extremely comfortable, with adequate support, and it looks good too. The nursing flaps are easily opened with one hand. I can't speak to the durability because i haven't owned it long, but it appears to be well made. Cups are not thick enough to completely hide breast pad lumps, nonetheless the look of this bra is superior to any other nursing bra i've tried. I'll be buying several more of these.

Best nursing bra I've tried

I've been pregnant or nursing for most of the last 4 years and I've tried a LOT of different nursing bras. I got this one several months ago and absolutely love it. I've been reasonably happy with the Bravado line in general -- they hold up very, very well, stay comfortable, and remain supportive over time-- but I just wasn't fond of the sports bra styling of their original one. I am often between bra sizes (between 34 and 36, between B and C cups, depending on the maker) and due to a habit of nursing more on the right side than the left, often have one breast larger than the other. The 36C fits me very comfortably with no noticeable bunching, lines, or that nasty "spillover" when it's been too long between feedings. I wear fairly fitted cotten shirts just about every day of the year so it's really important to me to have a bra that fits smoothly. The only other nursing bra that I've found that works as well under t-shirts is a Mimi brand one that it costs just about as much, but doesn't hold its shape for very long. Basically, this is a comfortable bra that is easy to use and will last.

Not great...

I bought this bra and prompty returned it. I really, really wanted to love this bra. But when I opened it, it was just about as frumpy as most other nursing bras out there.
First of all, their sizing seems to run large, and the fabric isn't very forgiving. When I tried it on, I had extra fabric on the cups that just sat there, all creased up. If you order this, try a cup size down.
Secondly, it isn't very low-cut, and when I tried a tank over it, you could see the tops of the cups hangin' out and the thick straps were unslightly. Now, it could be that my size (36DD) is uglier than smaller sizes...
The good: the fabric was soft and felt nice, and it had a nice wide band of elastic for the ribcage. If you want to avoid an underwire, that's the best you can hope for.
