Rechargeable 1000 timesNo memory effect - a full charge every timePre-charged for immediate use batteries into the 21st century. eneloop is a totally new type of battery, which satisfies in a unique way the needs and expectations of the consumers.
I will only buy these rechargeables from now on. They are the only ones powerful enough for my Canon 580 flash.
I have a Cannon PowerShot SX120 IS camera. Although it is a faboulous camera, it just eats up batteries. One pair of the Sanyo Eneloop precharged batteries lasted for over 5 days on my vacation. I was taking tons of pictures - 50+ per day and 1 short movie. I am REALLY impressed. The rechargables that came with my camera package only last for about 20 pictures. I'll never waste money purchasing anything other than the Sanyo Eneloop - assuming I'll ever need to purchase any more - they are still going strong. Good job, Sanyo!
I use these batteries in my electric toothbrush. After a few months of use, I noticed these batteries last much longer than the Duracell alkalines that I used to use.
After four months of regular use, I've only had to change the batteries once. They've lasted so long, I haven't even gotten the opportunity to try out the charger yet.
I read all the positive reviews with a little trepidation. Could these batteries really perform so well? I was fed up with replacing regular batteries which my digital camera ate for breakfast! These came fully charged as described and have held the charge for at least a couple weeks now...I haven't had to change them or recharge yet. Definitely the way to go for camera users.
My new eneloop AAs are here and refreshed/charged. I don't know if I needed to refresh or not but I did it anyway. A few of the 8-pack finished at around 1950mAh,that was a little disappointing after all the good reviews and such, maybe I was naive to hope for over 2000mAh on all of them. I can't speak to other attributes yet as I just put the 1st set of 4 in my camera today.
I gave 3-4 stars because my little brother has had several eneloops for some time and will use nothing else at this point. Maybe in the future I'll come across this review and update it with more 1st hand experience.
